Start your job searchMarks Sattin are working with a leading future technology and manufacturing business that is renowned for being a pioneer in their field. Due to continued growth, there exists an opportunity for a commercial Project Accountant to join the high performing finance team and work with the wider business.
The role is responsible for providing management accounting, reporting, forecasting and analysis for finance revenue streams and key projects. The position will involve managing data and providing analysis to influence the decision making process for the operation teams. You will also provide reports to help stakeholders prepare for customer contract negotiations, across cost and price agreements to help improve revenue. Supporting special project initiatives and improving and championing accounting processes are also important aspects of the role.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) with experience of accounting for long term projects and investments in construction, manufacturing or a contract based business. You will have good breadth of management accounting and forecasting skills and an analytical mind-set. Finally, you will be commercially savvy to understand business drivers and opportunities and to be able to partner across the business and work with all levels of the organisation.
