My client are an educational group of SME size that provide courses and professional qualifications for over 20 years. The business have seen growth and investment over 2018/2019 and therefore have new vacancy for a Finance Manager to join their team.

Perfect for a stopped studier or a qualified by experience accountant, importantly this person will be comfortably hands on with the day to day accounting procedures and will have experience of a working within an SME environment. You will take complete ownership of the accounting function and manage a small team, working closely with the finance director to ensure continued business growth and success.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Management of day to day finance department.
  • Providing quality management information to business directors.
  • Management of company payroll
  • Controls
  • Transactional accounting
  • Purchase / Sales ledger

You will be:

  • Part Qualified / Stopped Studier / QBE SME Finance Manager
  • Hands on accountant
  • General ledger functions
  • Month end / year end close
  • Xero accounting software
