Marks Sattin are currently assisting a Sheffield based PLC with the recruitment of a Rebate Accountant reporting directly into the Head of. You will be responsible for the control and operation of the monthly accrual for supplier rebate income across the business. This is a great time to join a business who has gone through major positive changes throughout senior leadership.

Responsibilities;

  • Accurate recognition of Supplier, Divisional, Marketing, Contract Support and Customer Rebates
  • Ensuring the timely collection of receipts and making payments
  • Ensure processes are robust and followed.
  • Liaise with internal and external audit.
  • Produce a full monthly reconciliation of internal rebate accrual vs rebate tracker.
  • Identify opportunities to maximise rebate earnings potential.

Skills;

  • Qualified Accountant
  • Strong technical background
  • Able to work within stringent processes
  • Experience with supplier rebates and rebate management software
