My client, a leading financial services company are looking to add a Security Engineer to their growing team in London🚀! As an experienced Full-stack Security Engineer, you must have at least 4-5 years of experience, working within security and full-stack (AWS, GCP, Python, Linux, TCP/IP, and secure software running in the cloud).
Requirements:
- Understanding of Linux and TCP/IP fundamentals
- Experience in shell scripting and version control systems, ideally git
- Experience in Python, JavaScript, Golang or similarly modern object oriented programming languages
- Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, and Azure
- Experience with containerisation and orchestration solutions such as Docker and Kubernetes
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent
What will make you standout:
- Being passionate about security and having a working knowledge of encryption standards, frameworks, and coding best practices.
- Hands-on experience working with security subsystems such as secrets databases, security automation, CI/CD release pipelines, application hardening, or similar.
- Ability to analyse applications, systems, and infrastructure to identify key security risks and recommend and drive security improvements.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps and understanding the importance of security-as-code, subscribing to DevOps methodologies.
