The details

An established international consulting business, is continuing to grow its strategy capability in Ireland and is looking to appoint a Director to its Dublin team.

The role combines client delivery, commercial responsibility and people leadership, offering the opportunity to help shape both client outcomes and the continued development of the Irish practice.

Rather than focusing on a single industry, the team works with organisations across a broad range of sectors, supporting strategic planning, growth initiatives, organisational change and complex transformation programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategy engagements from initial scoping through to delivery, providing practical and commercially focused advice.
  • Build long-term relationships with senior client stakeholders and act as a trusted adviser to executive teams.
  • Support the growth of the practice by identifying new opportunities within existing and prospective client relationships.
  • Oversee and develop project teams, ensuring high-quality delivery while mentoring more junior colleagues.
  • Contribute to the direction of the wider strategy practice through market insight, proposition development and collaboration across service lines.

About You

  • Degree-qualified, with postgraduate qualifications viewed favourably.
  • 8+ years' experience within strategy consulting or a corporate strategy environment.
  • Exposure to sectors such as consumer goods, retail, life sciences, manufacturing or construction would be beneficial, although candidates from other industries with strong strategic consulting experience will also be considered.
  • Previous experience within a recognised consulting environment is advantageous but not essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex strategic programmes and engage confidently with senior decision-makers.
  • Commercially minded, with experience developing client relationships and contributing to business growth.

We are happy to provide application and/or accessibility support, please contact your Marks Sattin or Grafton consultant directly to discuss your needs.
