We are looking to speak to ACA qualified Accountants to work in Group Finance for our Manufacturing client in North Yorkshire.
Due to exciting acquisitions, this role has been newly created to support the Group Financial Controller.
For this role, you need to be technically strong to be able to take responsibility for ensuring the companies group financial reporting is technically compliant.
The role:
- Preparing and reviewing Karro's statutory accounts, liaising externally and internally
- Take the lead on the understanding, analysis and modelling of technical accounting changes
- Preparing papers for presentation to the board and audit committee
- Partnering with the business to help wider teams understand any accounting changes may have on their roles and responsibilities
- Own the preparation of any acquisition accounting
- Perform quarterly site balance sheet reconciliation reviews on behalf of the group finance team, highlighting non-compliance, inconsistencies, risks and opportunities
Skill requirements:
- A fully qualified Accountant (ACA or equivalent)
- Audit and or experience of working in practice
- Excellent technical accounting skills
- Sound commercial acumen
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships quickly and effectively
