Technical Infrastructure Lead

Are you a Technical Infrastructure Lead looking for a change? Apply now for a chance to join an amazing and talented Engineering Team!

In this pivotal role, you will lead the technical and process aspects of the Infrastructure Team, ensuring robust management and operation of critical platforms, including Azure, Windows, and Data Factory. You will play a key role in managing infrastructure projects and supporting the Cloud and End User computing needs of the organization and its associated entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Leadership - Lead and manage the technical aspects of the Infrastructure Team, ensuring the efficient operation of key platforms and processes such as immutable backups, server patching, and decommissioning.
  • Project Support - Assist functional heads in delivering key infrastructure projects, including developing future hosting strategies, telephony requirements, and backup strategy rationalization.
  • Team Management - Manage and support a technical team responsible for the Cloud and End User computing services, ensuring these services meet the organization's business objectives.
  • Technical Oversight - Provide hands-on management of cloud and end-user computing services, including design, documentation, build, end-user support, 3rd line diagnostics, problem management, software patch management, configuration, security, testing, and training.

What you will bring:

  • Technical Expertise - Strong hands-on technical background within the Microsoft Technology stack, with a particular focus on Azure.
  • Data Management - Good understanding of backups, data integrity, and patching. Experience with Data Factories is an advantage.
  • Leadership - Previous experience in people management, with the ability to lead and develop a technical team.
