Start your job searchMark Sattin have been mandated by a global consultancy firm to source valuations, modelling & economic executives to plan & deliver modelling assignments
This firm's principal service is the growth of financial models to support transactions such as acquisitions, disposals and restructuring but also provide services to clients outside of these offerings including planning and forecasting, business plans, strategic reviews and provide reviews and confidence on client developed financial models.
Every engagement and level of participation will differ depending upon the size and complexity of the engagement.
A key aspect of this position is to have the commercial understanding and awareness to understand each entity face their own business problems and unique solutions have to be offered and provided.

To be considered for this position:
- Relevant 3rd Level honours degree
- Part/Fully qualified accountant or a willingness to start professional exams.
- At least three years' experience in modelling projects including data extraction, cleansing, analysis and reporting, working in either: financial services, large consultancies, global systems integrators or blue chip companies.
- Strong information analysis skills (i.e. putting analysis in a business context and consulting with internal stakeholders)
- Experience of industry application of modeling
- Strong technical knowledge of the application of advanced Excel and VBA using programming techniques. Experience in other tools such as Alteryx, PowerBI, SQL and MS Access preferable but not essential
- Experience of delivering large analysis projects
- Flexible with the ability to learn quickly and apply skills in new situations
- The ability to deliver multiple/parallel projects
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
