Permanent role paying £50,000 to £65,000 dependent on experience with generous benefits package.
Exceptional entreprenuers have chosen this business as a partner for long term growth for over 20 years; technology makes change inevitable and they are at the front of the wave.
This leading VC firm are looking for a bright and analytically minded ACA to join their high-performing finance team. They invest in tech start-ups across the UK with a particular focus on artificial intelligence, machine learning and data analytics.
Your role will cover:
- Preparation and production of quarterly reports.
- Portfolio analysis and valuation:
- Liaising with investment managers to review and refine the valuations of holdings;
- reviewing and reporting on key performance indicators of the portfolio; and,
- liaising with portfolio company FD/CFOs and ensuring the smooth running of the internal portfolio financial data system.
- Deal database management to track investment accounting data from external providers
- Liaising with external accountants to resolve queries and ensure rapid, accurate reporting
- Assist in the liaising with, and preparation of material for, auditors.
- Oversee and confirm the accuracy of capital calls and distributions to investors.
- Management of remuneration of employees and partners.
- Management of the monthly cashflows and cash balances.
- Assist with relevant tax matters and computations, including Corporation Tax and VAT.
- Support the partnership in managing the outsourced IT services providers.
In terms of candidate you must be ACA (or equivalent) qualified (or approaching qualification) and be from any practice size. They are open on industry background, but experience of auditing funds would be advantageous.
