A well-established company within the construction industry is seeking an Accounts Assistant ideally with experience in Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger and Credit Control.

Role and responsibilities:

• Raising various orders and forms on the new system, including but not limited to; credit notes, sales invoices and purchase orders
• Running debtor reporting
• Bank reconciliations
• Preparing and issuing statements as necessary
• Maintaining credit control operations
• Reconciliation of supplier statements
• Running VAT returns
• Running Supplier payment runs
• Ad hoc tasks including responding to queries to support Finance, HR and Operational staff
