Marks Sattin are currently working with an East Leeds Construction business who are looking to hire an Accounts Assistant!

They are seeking a candidate with 1-3 years' experience within Finance, who is ready to progress within a fast-paced environment with the potential to move into a Finance Manager position over the next couple of years.
The role will work within a small team of 4 and will be responsible for supporting the management accounts team with transactional processing and reconciliations.

For this role, they will pay up to £24,000 on a full-time basis plus great bonuses. There is a strong chance of study support within the role, should candidates wish to study.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintain and reconcile corporate credit cards
• Process credit card receipts
• Perform daily bank posting and bank reconciliations
• Maintain direct debit accounts and ensure costs are recognised in the correct nominals
• Process specific ad-hoc purchase invoices when required
• Raise sales invoices and applications
• Maintain and reconcile subcontractor retentions
• Maintain controls and seek to make improvements to processes where required
• Support the Finance Manager and Management Accountant with specific projects when required
