A vintage, luxury retailer is currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to support the overall Accounts Payable function.

• Sole responsibility for the Accounts Payable function including; processing of purchase invoices and maintaining supplier records
• Ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing and approval
• Efficiently checking and matching stock invoices against purchase orders
• Effectively raising queries for any discrepancies
• Preparing and performing regular payment runs
• Reconciliations of supplier statements
• Being first point of contact for any supplier and internal queries regarding payments/invoices
• Employee expenses
• Multi-currency bank reconciliations
• Assisting with month-end closing activities including prepayments, accruals and reconciliations
• Supporting the Finance Manager with reporting and projects
• Proactively looking out for ways to improve/streamline/create processes and procedures

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and commercially minded individual who has a keen interest in the fashion industry. The ideal candidate will have 2 years experience in a stand-alone Accounts Payable role and possess a strong level of communication and interpersonal skills.
