A global, food logistics company, is seeking an Accounts Assistant to provide support to the finance function.

Role and responsibilities:

• Maintaining financial systems
• Recording and processing financial information
• Data entry and overseeing various aspects of financial administration
• Maintaining the fixed assets register in an accurate manner
• Monthly reconciliations ensuring journals are processed accurately
• Reconciling and posting monthly credit card transactions
• Preparing monthly VAT returns
• Supporting the Management Accountant with month end close process

The role will suit a team-player with a mathematical mindset and excellent attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent in Finance or a related field and have minim 1-2 years' experience in a similar role.
