A leading construction consultancy firm are looking to add an Accounts Assistant to their finance team based in South West London.

Duties include:

  • Daily bank postings and reconciliations
  • Petty cash reconciliations
  • Set up of payments on online banking system
  • Assist with month end activities including Fixed Assets, Accruals, Prepayments and Financial Accounting journals
  • Assist with the preparation of VAT returns and EC Sales Lists as appropriate for the UK and overseas Hollis entities
  • Assist with the preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations for review by the Financial Controller
  • Assist with the preparation of all personal expenses and mileage claims for reimbursement
  • Assist the Finance team with the year end audit process for all group entities
  • Update accounting spreadsheets as instructed

The role requires someone who has a experience in a similar role and intermediate excel skills.
