We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our clients dynamic team based in Leicester. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the accounts payable team and ensure efficient workflow.
- Oversee the processing of invoices, purchase orders, and payment transactions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Prepare and analyse accounts payable reports.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and handle any payment-related inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Actively studying towards an Accountancy qualification AAT/ACCA/CIMA
- Proven experience in accounts payable management.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
