Start your job searchA global, food logistics company, is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to provide support to the finance function.
Role and responsibilities:
- Accepting invoices from suppliers and applying to cost accounting
- Negotiating service and payment terms, and establishing payment cycles
- Reconciliations and correcting discrepancies
- Assessing invoices against company forecasts
- Evaluating company performance and making suggestions to improve profit
- Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing suppliers
- Auditing the accounts payable operations, ensuring accuracy
- Providing ad hoc assistance to the Management Accountant and Finance Director
The role will suit a team-player with a mathematical mindset and excellent attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent in Finance or a related field and have minim 3-5 years' experience in a similar role.
