In particular within its technology function, where they are constantly looking to update their front and back-end development, most recently by migrating to a cloud-based ERP.
We are aiding their recruitment process for an Application Analyst to join this brand on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate is someone who has technical experience in the field of business applications and data integration. Just as importantly, they are looking to bring on a candidate who shares their values for upholding their heritage who are forward thinking.
Responsibilities
- Involvement in IT Projects, in particular the delivery of the app and data aspects such as data integration (single sign on), migration and app customisations and configurations.
- Once IT Projects are completed, assisting in their transition into BAU support, including 2nd/3rd line.
- Providing constant support on business apps, data integrations and business intelligence.
- Keeping in line with the companies' defined data architecture, you are required to carry out technical development of IT systems.
- Collaborate with 3rd party suppliers to maintain strong relationships with the companies' external partners.
- Bringing a courteous and friendly attitude when engaging with the user community, in order to better comprehend the business requirements.
- Carry out systems analysis to ultimately provide solutions that comply with the companies' defined data and app architecture.
- Present regular project updates, as well as highlight issues with proposed options.
Candidate requirements
- Has demonstrated Data Integration ETL principles on Microsoft T-SQL.
- Able to write apps/components in programming languages such as C# or .NET.
- Able to operate SOAP and REST web service methods.
- Can use JSON and XML.
- Has an understanding of SDLC.
