I'm currently recruiting for an Applications Analyst to join a global Professional Services firm based in Central London (although will be remote to start with, then majority will be remote beyond January). This is a 12 month FTC paying up to £40k.

This is a role within the Business Applications Team, which is responsible for the suite of applications used by all streams in the business. The Team's strategy is to 'Engage, Maintain, Support, Review'. They engage with their clients and vendors, they support the applications and each other, they maintain the applications and they review to ensure they're ongoing business suitability and best use of technology.

The Firm currently deploys desktop applications to Windows 10 laptops and some virtual machines delivered through a standard packaging process and deliver using Microsoft SCCM.

Required Knowledge and Experience

  • Excellent knowledge of application support and ownership.
  • Experienced in large IT project and understanding of project methodology.
  • Technical knowledge of key IT applications and systems including:
  • Windows 10
  • Microsoft Office 2016 and 365
  • Business Applications
  • Microsoft SCCM and Endpoint Manager
  • Microsoft Active Directory
  • Understanding of Application Packaging and Deployment Techniques
  • Microsoft Azure - inc. Microsoft WVD and Azure SQL
  • Microsoft SQL
  • Experienced in application management, inc.
    • Client relationship management
    • Vendor & license management
    • Application portfolio management
