Marks Sattin Are recruiting a new role of Assistant Accountant to join a high-growth services business in Hull. This role has emerged due to recent growth, and we're seeking a talented individual to contribute to the company's continued success.

Description

Reporting to the Finance Director as an Assistant Accountant you will be involved in various accounting tasks, contributing to the smooth financial operations of the company;

Responsibilities and duties

• Production of monthly management accounts along with relevant KPIs
• Preparation of weekly reports for the directors
• Preparation and completion of short-term cash flow forecasts
• Production of accruals and prepayments
• Administering auto-enrolment pension schemes
• Ad hoc duties as and when required including analysis
• Production of balance sheet reconciliations
• BACS payments

Profile

The successful Applicant will have:

• Qualified AAT or part-qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or relevant accounting experience
• Good attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly
• Comfortable with Microsoft Excel such as Vlookups or Pivot tables
