We are actively seeking an Assistant Accountant for a well established and growing company in Heywood.

The main duties include:

• Assisting Management Accountant with month end and reporting
• Payroll - Overseeing and ensuring accurate collection of payroll data, meeting deadlines to ensure correct receipt of pay.
• Credit Control - Proactively engage with customers to monitor and manage the accounts receivable ledger which will assist with cashflow reporting.
• Processing payments on the bank - various currencies
• Assisting with group and statutory audit

Our client is looking for a candidate who has:

• Experience of assisting with month end tasks
• Payroll experience
• Good Excel skills
• The desire to develop within finance
