A furniture and office design consultancy business based in the heart of London is currently seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their team.

As this is a sole finance role, you will be responsible for a mixture of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank account management and reconciliations, month end reporting, accruals and prepayments, assisting with year-end preparation and ad-hoc duties.

Ideally the candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years' experience working in an Assistant Accountant position within a small to medium size company. You will have strong knowledge of Excel and will be studying towards an accounting qualification such as ACCA/CIMA. As this is a sole role, you will need to be confident in your abilities or have worked in a sole role previously. Previous experience of Sage 50 is preferred.
