A luxury fashion and retail brand are currently seeking an Assistant Management Accountant who is keen to progress in their career, to assist the Finance Manager and work closely with the finance teams.

You will assist in the following:

• Monthly management reporting packs
• Month end close including balance sheet account reconciliations, payroll and depreciation
• Month end journal postings including accruals and prepayments.
• Submission of VAT returns
• Providing management with accurate and timely information on sales and stock levels
• Accounts Payable duties where needed
• Yearly audits and preparation of audit schedules
• Development of systems and processes
• Additional ad-hoc work and analysis to support the wider team

This role is perfect for an organised and self-sufficient individual with excellent interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude, who is studying or keen to undertake exams (AAT/ACCA/ACA/CIMA). The ideal candidate will have Good Excel skills and be comfortable with IT systems and a desire to work in the luxury fashion industry.
