We are actively seeking an Assistant Management Accountant for a well established company in Manchester City Centre.

The main duties include:

• Analyse financial information to enable business profitability and growth.
• Prepare journal entries for month-end and year-end journals.
• Produce accurate management reporting to support key decision making.
• Process payment runs as requested and required.
• Assist with producing statutory and management accounts
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Year-end audit deliverables
• Relevant commercial analysis
• Provide assistance with annual budgeting, reforecasting, and financial planning processes.

Our client is looking for a candidate who:

• Has experience of assisting with management accounts
• Is currently studying CIMA, ACCA or AAT
• Has balance sheet and financial controls experience
• Has good Excel skills
• Has the desire to progress within finance
