Salary: £12p/h - £15p/h

A brilliant opportunity to work for an excellent well-known waste management business. The role is for 12 months to help support the business with the management accounts. They are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to support the collection of management accounts and Year End.

Main responsibilities include:

• Monthly Management Accounts (General Ledger entries, Accruals, Prepayments, Reconciliations, etc.)
• Quarterly and Year End reporting
• Monthly analysis and investigation of P&L Variances
• Intercompany and Balance Sheet Reconciliations (with some analysis)
• Forecasting and Budgeting
• Support the Finance / Central teams to ensure all queries are resolved in a timely manner.
• Maintain databases used for Management Accounts purposes.
• Ad-hoc financial / administrative tasks

Ideal candidate:

• Someone Part Qualified either ACCA or CIMA
• Management Accounting experience (essential)
• Knowledge of Excel and computer skills
• Being able to manage own desk and work as a team
