Start your job searchMarks Sattin are working with a long-established and well respected professional services business, based in Chesterfield. This developmental role as an Assistant Management Accountant, will provide unparralelled progression within a Multi Billion turnover business.
Duties will include:
Assisting with the production of the monthly management accounts
- Calculating and posting prepayments and accruals
- Assisting with P&L analysis and commentary
- Providing variance analysis to directors on performance
- Assisting with monthly forecasting and budgets
- Providing accurate and timely reports to the managers and directors
- Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, resolving any discrepancies promptly
- Assisting the efficiency of the department by covering for fellow assistant management
- Providing support for the Financial Accounts, Management Accounts, Cash & Subs team when required
- Assist the finance team in completing the annual audit by providing information and explanations to the auditors
- Ad hoc and project work
This role would suit an ambitious ACCA/CIMA studier who wishes to continue with their exams and an excellent study package is on offer, as well as a competitive salary. Strong AAT candidates will also be considered.
