I have a fantastic opportunity for an AWS Infrastructure Engineer to join a global renowned publishing company based in the city. The successful AWS Infrastructure Engineer will be working within platform team working on AWS, Servers and database monitoring. There will be a strong focus on Windows Servers and Active Directory as they are looking to migrate this to the cloud.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Build and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory and Storage infrastructure onto cloud/AWS platforms.
- Good practical knowledge of EC2, S3, Systems Manager and storage gateways, and has a good knowledge of Windows Servers and ActiveDirectory.
- An understanding of monitoring tools such as Ansible or CircleCI and Python or Powershell for code as Infrastructure.
- Ability to work as a team with any issues that may arise.
- Good communication skills.
- Proactive in finding and resolving Infrastructure or product issues with the required deadline.
- Ideally have or working towards AWS certification
- Minimum 2-3 years within an AWS/Cloud environment
