Basle 3.1 Business Analyst - Banking - 18m Contract Role - Hybrid

A well known UK bank are recruiting for an experienced Regulatory BA to take the lead on their Basle 3.1 implementation and oversee a regulatory reporting system implementation.

Salary: £100,000 -£120,000

Here's a brief overview of what the role entails:

The role is within their regulatory reporting department and initially has significant emphasis on the Basel 3.1 implementation and also implementation of regulatory reporting software for capital reporting.

  • Key Focus Areas: Basel 3.1 implementation
  • Rollout of a new regulatory reporting system specifically for regulatory capital.
  • Strategic Contribution: You would play a central role in reorganising the bank's regulatory reporting processes, establishing robust controls, bringing efficiencies and shaping the design and functionality of the new reporting system.

What we are looking for?

  • This position is ideal for someone who is not only technically proficient on the rules, but also brings a strategic mindset to regulatory reporting and understanding of big data, how it's structured and mapped.
  • Understanding of regulatory reporting roles for Capital in a lending environment.
  • Experience of implementing regulatory capital reporting software
  • Qualified Accountant (preferable)

There is a possibility that this could emanate into a permanent role for an individual with the right skillset to compliment the team but in the longer term it would likely be a mix of reporting and change management.
