An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Bookkeeper/Accountant on a rolling contract to join a fast growing SME retailer in North London. The role is a sole role with the Finance director working in the office 1 day a week. You will be responsible for a mixture of transactional and management accounting duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable and credit control
  • Preparing weekly trading report with analysis of sales by channel, brand and regional area, best sellers, discount and returns, with commentary.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • All month end duties such as pre-payment, accruals, fixed asset register and internet sales recs and revenue recognition
  • Assisting with year end accounts preparation

Key Skills

  • Previous experience within retail and online sales ideal
  • MUST have Xero experience
  • Advanced excel skills
  • 3-5 years in a similar role
  • Highly analytical with great communication skills
