Start your job searchMarks Sattin Executive Search is working with a dynamic, PE-backed B2B services in search for an ambitious CFO. This individual will be instrumental in preparing the business for a successful sale, while also shaping the strategic direction to ensure sustainable growth and value creation beyond the exit.
This is a remarkable opportunity to step into an autonomous CFO role. While our client seeks an experienced CFO, they are also uniquely open to candidates making their first transition into a PE-backed CFO position. This includes Divisional Finance Directors, Heads of Finance, or Financial Controllers who are prepared to embrace a more independent and strategic leadership role.
Responsibilities:
- Assume full responsibility for the finance function, implementing systems, processes, and controls to support business growth.
- Work closely with the CEO to develop, execute, and evaluate the overarching business strategy.
- Contribute to executive-level decision-making with incisive performance analysis, rigorous forecasting, and insightful reporting.
- Establish comprehensive systems, controls, KPIs, and dashboards.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of board packs to support strategic ambitions.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA), preferably Chartered.
- Experience as a Financial Controller, Head of Finance, or Finance Director, seeking to step into a CFO role within a growing PE-backed business.
- Proven expertise in managing daily finance operations within a scaling business.
- Demonstrated success in leading transactions through to a potential sale.
- Track record of implementing robust financial systems, processes, and controls.
- Strong communication skills paired with exceptional commercial acumen.
