Our client is a high growth PE backed financial services business with an impressive track record and being backed by a well-regarded PE Backer. They are now looking to hire a high calibre CFO to become a key member of the executive team and Board Director, whilst working alongside the CEO in making strategic decisions. With a number of ongoing M&A projects in the pipeline and genuine development opportunities, this company has an impressive growth agenda. The key focus of the role will be to oversee and drive a small finance team, providing a high level of commercial vision to support a swift growth period along with running the operational side of the business.

The CFO will be the right-hand person to the CEO having overall responsibility for the finance and operations function and have a strong presence in professionalising, leading, and implementing all controls, processes, and procedures in order to drive growth for the business.

The ideal candidate must have:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA)
• A proven track record in managing and developing a small finance team.
• Proven Private Equity experience within financial services sector
• Be proactive and entrepreneurial with exceptional interpersonal skills, and be a skilled communicator.
• Ability to mentor and motivate the finance team.
• Having experience of working in a strong regulated environment.
• A track record of implementing and improving accounting systems, processes and management information and financial reporting is a must.
• Experience of acquisitions and integrations.

Alternatively, the client would considered candidates having previous experience of working in a PE Backed business preferably in a financial services sector as either a number one or number two or have been an autonomous FD hands-on experience and strong analytical and quantitative skills
