Start your job searchMarks Sattin Executive search is working with a Multisite Distribution business in their search of an accomplished CFO to lead the transformation of both finance and operations functions. The CFO will work closely with the CEO and Private Equity Firm, contributing to the development and implementation of an ongoing strategy to guide the business through a period of transformation, ultimately driving increased revenue and positioning for a potential exit.
The CFO will work alongside the senior management team to professionalise the business and guide its growth strategy in the UK and internationally. Responsibilities include overseeing monthly management accounts, including cash and performance forecasts.
Additionally, the CFO will play a key role in leading the finance function, refining, and interpreting KPIs for strategic insights, budgeting, forecasting, and enhancing full-board reporting to provide sustained commercial, financial, and operational expertise at the board level.
The Ideal candidate:
- A qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA)
- Experience operating as a CFO in PE Backed businesses within the Distribution, Outsourcing, Logistics , Freight Forwarding and/or related sectors, ideally B2B, preferably within a transformation environment
- Proven track record driving the business transformation process forward to success
- Prior transaction and M&A experience
- Prepared to Roll-up sleeves and take a hands-on approach to the role, as well as building key relationships with stakeholders
