Marks Sattin Executive Search is partnering with a dynamic, PE-backed multisite hospitality business to find an ambitious CFO. This pivotal role involves leading the business and driving its significant expansion. The CFO will be central to shaping strategic direction and will play an active role in all major decisions for the business.

The CFO will lead the finance function, using their expertise to craft and execute financial strategies that enhance growth and profitability. As a strategic partner at the board level, the CFO will provide invaluable commercial, financial, and operational insights to ensure the company's objectives are met. Partnering closely with the CEO, the CFO will spearhead the identification and acquisition of new sites, establishing clear and measurable criteria to evaluate the key attributes of potential locations.

Among the CFO's key responsibilities are driving executive-level strategy through comprehensive performance analysis, forecasting, and reporting. The role also involves leading a small but highly skilled finance team, optimizing financial and IT systems for peak efficiency, and ensuring robust financial controls are in place to support the Group's ongoing growth.

The ideal candidate

  • Be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA)
  • Experience as a CFO, Finance Director, Divisional Finance Director, Group Financial Controller and or Head of Finance looking to step up into a number CFO role within a Multisite PE-Backed business within the hospitality, restaurant, Leisure and/or consumer facing sectors.
  • Hands on with a keen eye for detail and considerable technical and commercial awareness
  • In-depth knowledge of the sector's unique challenges and opportunities, particularly in the areas of new site rollouts and managing supplier payment processes.
