Marks Sattin Executive Search is working with an Established multisite wholesale Distribution business that operates through a diverse multi-channel model, encompassing partnerships, trade counters, and direct-to-consumer e-commerce platforms. The business is now searching for a seasoned CFO to spearhead the transformation of both finance and operations functions.

The successful CFO will work closely with the CEO and Private Equity Firm, contributing to the development and implementation of an ongoing strategy to guide the business through a period of change and transformation, increasing margins and ultimately providing support in taking the business through a potential exit.

The CFO responsibilities will include supporting the CEO and the leadership team and taking responsibility for the financial function, improving systems, processes, and financial controls. Beyond financial acumen, the ideal candidate will prepare monthly reporting of performance to the board; and ensuring control and management of working capital and cash to facilitate the growth of the business . As well as, Mentoring and leading the finance team.

The business is conveniently located in an area within the West Midlands that is easily commutable from Staffordshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire or Leicestershire.

The Ideal candidate

• A qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA)
• Experience of being a CFO in a PE-Backed business, and delivering a successful exit
• Proven track record of driving business improvement including systems implementations
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• A positive, motivated individual with excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of building strong working relationships across and outside the business
