CFO appointment at this medium sized global Insurer suited to a commercially orientated senior finance individual able to operate at Board level as right hand person to the CEO. This retained mandate is a highly critical appointment and will take ownership for all financial and operational affairs across the company and play an integral part in the future growth of the firm as a whole. The business has significant tenure in the market and operates in a highly lucrative but niche section of the insurance market. Their head office is in London with overseas offices in Europe and the US. Your direct reports would be minimal freeing you up to support and partner with the CEO and parent company.
We're looking for an accomplished CFO or Finance Director with significant commercial and strategic credentials and evidence of having impacted the direction of a business. This could have included M&A or disposals, new product launches, business development or alike. You'll need to display strong leadership abilities, gravitas and diplomatic personality with experience in an international business highly desirable.
Experience in the Insurance sector would be ideal but we are open to people from the wider Financial Services market. You will also definitely need to be a qualified accountant (ACA/CA preferred or equivalent). Given the nature of the appointment, a lucrative benefits package is on offer in addition to significant bonus potential and equity further down the line.
Salary on offer of £150-170k base + benefits + significant bonus
