As a Commercial Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Finance business partner to the Sales & Marketing teams.
- Provide support, challenge and financial insight to achieve improved commercial performance through enhanced decision making, and optimal return on investment from trade spend, category marketing spend and new product launches
- Provide commentary by customer and by segment to the Board and Senior Management on variances to Budget, Forecast and Prior Year at the end of each period.
- Participate in Demand Review meetings with the Sales and Planning Teams, understanding and challenging changes in forecast since the previous period.
- Prepare analysis to support Budget and Forecast submissions.
- Review of Category Marketing spend and challenging return on investment.
As you can see, this role is incredibly client facing, so you will need to demonstrate superior stakeholder management and communication skills. You will ideally be CIMA qualified from a leading finance graduate scheme.
