Commercial Finance Manager - Hook (Hybrid) - £60,000 to £70,000

A brilliant Commercially focussed Finance Manager role withing a global powerhouse in the events & marketing industry with revenues in the £Billions. Although titled Commercial Finance Manager, this role very much lends itself to that of a Strategic Finance Business Partner, preferably you'll have experience in Project Management cyles and how Revenue flows through these projects from start to finish.

You'll be number two to the FD with a clear focus and aim on driving growth and performance within the business by providing financial and commercial insight, you'll be granted a high level of autonomy to get the job done how you feel best.

You will have a natural tendency to look for areas of improvement & opportunities to learn new skills and knowledge with the ability to apply that knowledge to new events as they become relevant.

Day to day you can expect to be....

• Proactively identify and highlight opportunities to improve business performance
• Working closely with operational team leaders/managers, ensuring a strong understanding of the business and its commercial drivers
• Providing regular reporting on financial performance and business KPIs
• Managing periodic planning and forecasting processes, providing necessary analysis and guidance
• Initiate and deliver projects and process improvements to improve the efficiency of the function
• Work collaboratively with colleagues fulfilling different roles within the wider function

Desired experience/qualifications....

• ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified
• Previous experience in a commercial role
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships across functions and geographies
• Curious, enthusiastic and prepared to challenge the status quo
