This is a retained and exclusive COO/CFO search for a well recognized venture capital firm with offices across San Francisco, Paris, London and New York. This will be their first hire outside of the investment team and thus this poses a fantastic opportunity to join a growing investment business, at Partnership level, at an exciting stage of its development. Initially, the role will be based in Paris however there may be scope for flexibility.

The firm invests in a variety of fintech, property, health, consumer tech and asset management and conducts both early stage and growth capital deals. They currently have three funds and plan to raise another in 2017.

The role reports directly into the Managing Director and will be a member of both the Senior Management Committee and Investment Committee. As the first non investment hire, the role is a blank canvass and you will be responsible for:

  • Finance
  • Operations/IT
  • Risk and compliance
  • Legal
  • Human resources

It will be up to you to decide on all processes and procedures and down to you to maintain organization and management of the platform to allow the investment team to work as efficiently as possible.

The candidate we are looking for will have experience in private equity/venture capital or wider asset management. We are open on years of experience and will look at either hungry, experienced CFOs or ambitious FCs/FDs/Heads of Finance who feel they can make the step up.

This is partnership position and thus the financial package will reflect this, not only in terms of base salary and bonus but in LTIP as well.

A role of this nature can not be given justice in an advert so if of interest or you would like more details, please do not hesitate to apply below or get in touch directly with Thomas Wesseldine for a private and confidential discussion.
