Start your job searchAn excellent contract opportunity has arisen within a top tier private equity firm who are seeking a Corporate Accountant to join the business.
This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate who will join the group finance function on a temporary basis and be part of a team who are responsible for all of the financial and regulatory reporting, controls and financial analysis for the business. This is a relatively fluid role where the candidate will be allowed to take on more responsibility if they prove that they can handle the challenge. However the business wants the candidate to be able to grow in the role and get something positive out of the experience. It's a very collaborative and social culture and people are given a lot of autonomy while also getting ongoing support.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Monthly management accounting and control of the GL
- Corporate tax, VAT, PSAs & regulatory reporting
- Assisting with the budget, preparing management reports and cost analysis
- Ongoing process improvement and system automation
- Statutory accounting and audit (seasonal)
To be considered for this role you must be:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA or similar)
- Preferably have recently worked in a similar role within a financial services business or have recently audited private equity / investment management firms in practice
- Self-starter, excellent communicator, a team player with great work ethic
This is a fixed term contract duration with a minimum duration of 12 months.
Salary £55-65,000 & full benefits including Bonus
Start Date: July
