Marks Sattin are working in partnership with a Professional Services firm based in Bristol to recruit a new Credit Control position. An ambitious and growing firm with a clear direction, this is a great time to join an existing high performing team. This will be a busy and fast paced role that will give you access to internal and external communications via written and verbal communications.

The Credit Control position will be paying between £23k and £26k per annum, with 2 days working from home, excellent benefits including 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays and a host of employee focused add-ons!

The Credit Control Role

This role would suit somebody with an existing Credit Control skill set, a background in professional services would be advantageous but not essential. You will be an effective communicator with the ability to manage relationships in advance of overdue debt alongside effective cash collection past due date.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Aid the client billing process
• Proactively manage and exceed cash targets set by the function
• Maintain accurate records in relation to credit control
• Chase overdue invoices via written and verbal communications
• Regular meetings and communication with internal stakeholders
• Maintain positive client relationships and representation of the firm

Key Skills and Experience

• Clear credit control experience obtained within professional services (advantageous)
• Excellent communication skills
• AAT/ICM qualification advantageous
• Strong basic accounting process knowledge
• Keen to work as part of a collaborative and high performing team
