Credit Controller

£22,000 - £24,000. Wakefield

How valued do you feel in your current role?

Are you wanting to take the next step up in salary? Or even break free of working in micromanaged team's environment with autocratic managers who have little regard for your opinions and ideas?

If you're looking for a company that encourages a culture of free thinking to dealing with daily challenges and offers job satisfaction, then I may have the role for you.

About the company:

My client is a multinational agency that have been experiencing a steep positive trend in organic year on year growth that is forecast to continue with ambitious expansion plans. The Credit and Payroll team has recently moved to Wakefield and currently there are 2 others working in Credit Control that report into a Credit Manager.

The Job:

The position will be supporting the credit manager in collection of debts and working towards obtaining timely payments on client's outstanding balances. You'll also be expected to liaise with internal departments to handle invoice queries and external companies to facilitate the collection of unpaid invoices. Working knowledge of SAP or new system implementations would also be beneficial.

You:

Along with a strong track record in Credit Control, you'll also need to be skilled and methodological in your approach to maintaining the receivables ledger. It goes without saying that you will need to be adapt and capable of hitting collection targets.

In return:

The salary on offer is higher than that of this businesses competitors and above the average paid for a credit controller of this level around the Wakefield area. The biggest selling point though is the work environment…people who work in this business genuinely enjoy their jobs and wake up with a sense of purpose when going to work as opposed to the grind whilst watching the clock for 37.5 hours a week.

If this is sounds like the right role for you then get in touch for more detail. Either apply or send your CV to me, Dean Stokes at dean.stokes@markssattin.com
