Cyber Security Risk Manager

The details
Your new organisation is one of the UK's leading power companies who have been growing successfully over the past few years and are therefore looking to appoint a Cyber Risk Management Lead within the existing cyber security function. This is an exciting time to join the business and this role will play an integral part in their next phase of growth.
Within this role you will be responsible for working with the wider business to implement and continuously monitor the Cyber Risk Management Framework across the business. You will manage the cyber risk-toolkit across both operational and information technology domains. You will ensure operations are aligned with industry standards and pay a key part in contributing to the management of a Security Operations centre operating model. This position will also have some responsibility for contributing to DevOps practices and assisting with various projects as and when required.
In order to succeed in this role, you will:
- You will have at least 5 years of experience in senior cyber security positions working within Energy or similar industrial environments.
- Have excellent knowledge of regulatory frameworks including NIS, Cyber Essentials and ISO 27001
- Be able to demonstrate experience of implementing effective cyber risk management frameworks in a similar industry.
- Ideally have some knowledge of working with SIEM tools such as Splunk, IBM QRadar and Microsoft Sentinel.
