Data Integration Lead - Bank - Risk

A well renowned Global Bank is seeking an Integration Lead to join a team working on a large data programme in London. This exciting opportunity is looking to improve the banks management of data assets over the course of the next 12 months.

The candidates' responsibilities include:

  • Serve as Risk Subject Matter Expert on the Business Information Model Framework.
  • Ensure that Risk sub-functions have the expertise required to provide input to define the Risk Data Domains within the Group Business Information Model Framework
  • Ensure that Risk sub-functions have the expertise required to provide input and implement the Golden Sourcing Strategy.
  • Collaborate with Risk IT Data Architecture to drive, develop and document specific Risk domains for the Group Business Information Model.
  • Collaborate with Global Risk IT to drive the adoption of the Golden Sourcing Strategy.
  • Lead delivery of the Risk Business Data Information Framework and all it's components.
  • Lead integration of the Business Data Information Framework and Golden Sourcing strategy with other workstreams of the Global Risk & MI Programme
  • Ensure delivery plans are appropriate across Risk sub-functions
  • Oversee the preparation and adoption of Golden Source policy. Track, control, monitor and deliver to these plans

The candidate suitability is determined by the following skills set and experience that are detailed bellow:

  • Experienced Data Modeller within Banking who has recently moved into a managerial position.
  • Extensive experience of working in development of business data and information models.
  • Extensive experience with integrating best practice business processes and data flows.
  • Experience in both top down and bottom up data analysis.
  • Good knowledge / experience of data architecture concepts.
  • Good knowledge of Data Architecture and Business/Data Information Modelling.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and profiling.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure with competing and rapidly changing priorities.
  • Strong communication skills - applicable through multiple channels (written, spoken, workshops, presentations) with all level of stakeholders
