Start your job searchFantastic Opportunity - Urgent Requirement - In line with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) act, niche consultancy in Central London seek "Hands on" Data Privacy consultant / Data Protection consultant (DPO). You will be required to implement adequate standards and advise on complex data privacy decisions ultimately enhancing the overall privacy of key clients. The focus of this role lies more around 2nd line (function level audit) rather than delivery so a broad Data Privacy and Data Protection knowledge is essential. This company is going from strength to strength, currently acquiring new business and is looking to add to it's growing team.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Extensive experience in data protection / data privacy / Audit and Compliance.
- Previous experience installing principles and changes enabling GDPR compliance.
- Excellent communication skills (client facing role)
- Installing a data protection culture within the organisation (data processing, data subjects' rights, data protection design/default, security processing, data breaches)
- Data protection impact assessment (DPIA) knowledge and the procedures surrounding this
- Advise business on DPIA and ability to carry this out correctly and what safeguards to apply.
- Data controller and Data Advisory correct procedures
- EU GDPR Foundation, EU GDPR Practitioner, IAPP, CRISC, CIPP, CIPM, CIPP/E, CISM, CISA, CISSP knowledge Certification. ISEB Preferred
- Experience as Data Protection Officer , DPO as a service, Data Protection Consultant, Data Privacy Manager, Data Protection Manager, Data Privacy Advisor, Data Protection Advisor, GDPR Consultant, GDPR Implementation, Data Protection Consultant, Data Protection Specialist, Data Protection Implementation, GDPR Project Manager, GDPR Programme Manager, GDPR Project Lead
