Brilliant Opportunity - Urgent Requirement - Leading services provider seek experienced and competent Data Protection Officer. As Data Protection Officer you will work with the in-house legal team creating and implementing a strategy from 'scratch' for compliance under GDPR and other EU and local protection obligations. Fantastic opportunity for a DPO with solid experience to take the next step in your data protection career.

  • Minimum 3 years of data protection and privacy experience.
  • Expertise in global data protection laws, regulations and practices and an in-depth understanding of GDPR.
  • Experience of creating a strategy for compliance from 'scratch' under GDPR regulations.
  • Experience implementing data protection obligations and introducing the mechanisms required to facilitate cross border data transfers.
  • Experience of implementing a framework for managing data protection and privacy issues ensuring compliance with appropriate laws and regulations
  • Ability to carry out data protection audits and investigations, compile reports, make recommendations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and key stakeholders
  • Experience conducting data privacy compliance reviews and audits.
  • Data Protection qualification ( IESB, CIPP etc) Highly Desirable.
