Start your job searchWe are currently partnering with a leading global business solutions corporate that is focused on quality engagement and long-term relationships within their specialised field. Due to constant improvement and development across finance, there now exists a new opportunity for a qualified accountant to join as Financial Controller with a focus on reporting across the EMEA region.
A wide and varied role, you will be responsible for the statutory accounting and reporting for the European subsidiaries across the division, reporting to the US parent and managing the general ledger and controls, including payroll and costs. In addition, you will work closely with the wider business on project work, including supporting ERP developments and improvements and integrated applications. Key to the role will also be managing and developing a small team.
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) and your background will demonstrate strong accounting and technical expertise, most likely from a chartered environment. You will have knowledge of SOX, experience of preparing statutory accounts and ideally providing guidance in relation to US GAAP. Technology sector experience would be advantageous. You will have excellent interpersonal skills to partner across the business and also manage and lead the team.
