Finance Analyst | Trafford Park | £30,000 | Engineering & Manufacturing | 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Marks Sattin are recruiting on behalf of a market leading specialist distribution business who are looking for a Finance Analyst to join their team on a 6 month fixed term contract basis.

This role will be based over a number of sites including Warrington, Southport & Bury.

Duties

  • Review available information and identify key trends and areas of focus
  • Partnering with Operational Heads of each business to review, in detail, the requirements of the business
  • Agree and implement improvement plans and initiatives to deliver tangible cost savings
  • Identify process improvements for key business areas
  • Share best practice across the group
  • Support business leads - contract negotiation with the supply chain
  • Assist in the design of business process review programme, complete and produce post completion reviews
  • Assist with production of monthly executive board papers

Person specification

  • Self-motivated with exceptional communication skills
  • Intermediate excel skills
  • Proficient in all forms of data analysis
  • CIMA Part-Qualified/Qualified or Qualified by experience
  • Experience in delivering cost savings and have an accounting, procurement or cost control background
