Marks Sattin are recruiting on behalf of a market leading specialist distribution business who are looking for a Finance Analyst to join their team on a 6 month fixed term contract basis.
This role will be based over a number of sites including Warrington, Southport & Bury.
Duties
- Review available information and identify key trends and areas of focus
- Partnering with Operational Heads of each business to review, in detail, the requirements of the business
- Agree and implement improvement plans and initiatives to deliver tangible cost savings
- Identify process improvements for key business areas
- Share best practice across the group
- Support business leads - contract negotiation with the supply chain
- Assist in the design of business process review programme, complete and produce post completion reviews
- Assist with production of monthly executive board papers
Person specification
- Self-motivated with exceptional communication skills
- Intermediate excel skills
- Proficient in all forms of data analysis
- CIMA Part-Qualified/Qualified or Qualified by experience
- Experience in delivering cost savings and have an accounting, procurement or cost control background
