Newly-created commercial role, acting as a consultant to FTSE listed business regarding executive pay. This is a great opportunity to use your ACA training in a different manner, not going down the typical route of financial reporting but continuing to liaise with senior management teams and provide them with the most up-to-date and relevant advice.
Company
A large well-known consultancy group based in Central London who provide a range of services to senior teams within FTSE listed and Fortune 500 firms.
Role
Varied role working with SMT and board level staff to structure pay and governance programs for their staff in order to ensure that they are as transparent and effective as possible. You will work on a range of different projects across industries and will gain exposure to a number of different structures.
There are plenty of opportunities to progress within the department, taking on your own portfolio and managing more junior staff. This role has come about due to growth of workload and expansion of the team and this will continue to develop.
Duties:
- Liaison with senior teams to structure pay and governance programs
- Consult on different incentive plans for staff as well as base salary
- Carry out benchmarking audits to ensure up-to-date market knowledge
- Assist clients with stakeholder management and communications questions
- Assist with compensation strategy depending on a range of different situation such as IPOs, mergers, restructures etc
- Ad hoc project work
Benefits
In return you will get a competitive base salary circa £50,000 + bonus, pension and healthcare.
Next steps
No prior experience within executive pay is necessary but they do ideally want an ACA qualified candidate looking to do something a little different. Any experience of reward etc would be a bonus but not a prerequisite at all.
