What will you be doing?
Responsible for the ownership of the month end close process for the Group, including the production of financial reports and supporting schedules across multiple countries.
Responsible for managing the Group's international compliance obligations in close collaboration with external advisers, including but not limited to, corporation tax returns, VAT returns and local statutory accounts, ensuring that deadlines are met. You will lead the Group's annual audit process, ensuring deliverables are provided within agreed timescales.
What is required?
- Applicants should be qualified accountants ACA or ACCA with a strong background within the technical aspects of a finance function, ideally ACA.
- Applicants should have a good level of understanding of IFRS and should have previous experience with consolidation and working in an international environment.
- Applicants should be comfortable with foreign exchange, interpreting variances and ensuring compliant reporting under IFRS
- Strong MS Excel skills and knowledge of an ERP System implementation is desirable
Extra information
The client is looking for someone who has been there and done it with over 10 years experience of being a FC or equivalent position but also someone who is fun and enjoys what they do.
You would be overseeing a large team and working from home to start with until Boris says otherwise.
