Role - Finance Director Location - Stockport Salary - Between £120,000 and £140,000 + benefits

Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a well-established privately-owned manufacturing and distribution business in their search for a Finance Director to work out of their office based on the outskirts of Stockport on a hybrid model.

The successful candidate will need to be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified and must have worked for a manufacturing business previously. Strong technical accounting skills are absolutely essential and any experience of taking a business through a sale process would be a distinct advantage. The ability to influence the board and bring key financial insight into key strategic decisions will be absolutely crucial. Excellent staff management skills are a must as is the ability to work to tight deadlines. Key duties for the Finance Director role will involve:

• Lead on budgeting and forecasting process
• Ensure month end and year end reporting is done timely and accurately
• Build relationships with banks, auditors etc.
• Cash-flow management
• Assist with the strategy of the business moving forward.
• Provide financial assistance and due diligence with any potential acquisitions
• Look at improving processes and systems throughout the business
• Assist with potential refinancing and possible future exit from a finance point of view
• Management of sizeable finance team

Salary for the role is anywhere between £120,000 and £140,000 + benefits
